The JAGWAR proudly supports its sister associations and these Soldier support organizations.


The Judge Advocates Association is a national legal society organized in 1943 whose membership includes active duty, reserve, guard, and retired judge advocates from all of the armed services.

The Judge Advocates Association is the only national professional legal organization exclusively dedicated to the advancement of Judge Advocates and practitioners of military law.


The Judge Advocate General’s Association of Legal Paraprofessionals promotes a spirit of cooperation, friendship, and tradition among its members who represent the JAG Corps of all military service branches. 

The Association is an outstanding networking organization  for contacts  all over the United States and Overseas.  Retiring NCOS have POCs in the DOJ, VA, SJA offices and many other Local, State and Federal positions.

Additionally, the Association and its Membership assist local SJA offices when needed.


The Association of Military Legal Administrators is a values-based veteran’s organization which seeks to preserve old friendships, to support and uphold the values of military service, and to continue the exchange of knowledge in an ongoing mission of teaching, coaching, mentoring and leading.

The AMLA assists members transition from military to civilian life, enhancing employment opportunities and professional educational learning. Chapters strengthen their regions through volunteer service and provide opportunities for mentoring with military partners. The AMLA is committed to the values of viability, self-reliance, and community commitment.


The Alumni Association of The Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School is co-located with the University of Virginia (Charlottesville). It is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit.

It is a private organization established exclusively for educational purposes, and operates on a nonprofit basis, using tax-deductible contributions to support and enhance the educational programs and goals of TJAGLCS.

Membership in the Alumni Association is strictly voluntary, open to anyone who has been associated with the School by attending an official TJAGLCS course of instruction or serving as a member of TJAGLCS's staff or faculty.
